Who We Are

The Helping One Foundation was founded on October 18, 2022, by Ms. Sonu, inspired by a deep commitment to making education accessible for all. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the widespread challenges faced by children across communities became painfully clear. With schools shifting online, many students were left behind—lacking smartphones, internet access, or academic support. Families were under economic stress, and education became a luxury for many.

Determined to make a difference, Sonu took the first step: offering free education and basic stationery to children in need. What began with a few students and limited resources soon grew into a powerful movement. That movement became The Helping One Foundation—an organization driven by the belief that no child
should be denied the right to learn because of circumstances beyond their control.
